And the long overdue birthday pictures. We started the morning with chocolate chip banana pancakes and whipped cream. Yummy. This summer Isabel has been getting up early each morning and cooking with me. It's become our special time together. I'll miss this routine once school starts back up.

The next day we packed up the kids and invaded the Boston Children's museum. Isabel enjoyed a full day there and we learned lots of new skills such as how to potty in space. Observe Lucy's deft space pottying skills.

It's exhausting trying to keep up with these older girls!

It's great to be three!

The girls climbed all the way to the top again. This is three stories high.

We then took Isabel to the rain forest cafe with all the mechanical animals, fish aquariums, bad fried food, flashing lights, etc. Every kid's dream.

We sat next to the elephants. The would blink and occassionally turn their heads and trunks. Isabel wouldn't break eye contact with them. She couldn't decide if they were real enough to be of threat. This is me trying to convince her that they're not real elephants.

And the grand finale. A brownie, ice-cream volcano. This photo is priceless. Holy brownies!

She gave it her best.
