St. Patty's Day

Here are our three little leprechauns.

Isabel asked to have her hair look like a rainbow and this is what we came up with. She was quite happy.
Our oldest leprechaun help me make rainbow cupcakes and pots of gold for dessert. Here's the eager cook.
We followed the directions exactly and they turned out perfectly. A little tedious, but well worth the effort for special occasions Here's the link. I think they'd make fun birthday cupcakes too.

The leprechauns danced some jigs while the cupcakes cooked. Isabel asked me to take a picture of her Dora.

Lucy saw Isabel getting her picture taken.
And Julia stopped and smiled at me for a nanosecond.
The fabulous results of our rainbow experiment. A colorful confection!

We paired our rainbows with a pot of gold. The leprechaun in lurking in the background patiently waiting for mom to take her pictures.
And finally, she gets to try one. Happiness is rainbow cupcakes.

We've been enjoying some unseasonably gorgeous weather so we made our first 2010 park trip yesterday. It was jam packed but I did manage to grab a few blue sky photos. The girls had so much fun, especially feeding the ducks. Julia kept chuckling every time a duck would splash.
